Ching-Chen Chen (Counselor Education, School Psychology, and Human Services) co-authored a research article with faculty colleagues from four other universities titled "Is Supervisee Disclosure in Supervision Universal? Preliminary Cross-Cultural Evidence From US and Turkish Supervisee Samples" published in the Counselor Education and Supervision. This study found that supervisee disclosure differs across cultures, as the Supervisee Disclosure in Supervision Scale did not work the same for U.S. and Turkish supervisees, highlighting the need for culturally grounded assessment tools.
