Cass Shum (Hospitality) and her coauthors received the First Runner-Up Best Paper Award at APacCHRIE 2026 in Osaka, Japan, for their paper titled "Deontic justice for robots: How and when employees’ robot abuse affects customers’ revisit and negative word-of-mouth."
