Arthur D. Soto-Vásquez (Journalism and Media Studies) recently published "Laboratory of reaction: SB 17 in Texas, the anti-DEI movement, and implications for higher education" in Communication Education. The article contextualizes recent anti-DEI legislation through an analysis of the think tank networks, its ideological underpinnings, and the as part of a larger reaction against social justice movements and higher education.
