April Ursula Fox (Education Psychology) published “Zine-Making at The Punk Rock Museum: Creating a Bridge Between Museum Display and Personal Meaning-Making with Adult Visitors” in Visitor Studies. The study examines how adult visitors used zine-making following a visit to The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas to reflect on, reinterpret, and retain museum experiences. Findings highlight three interconnected processes — situated reflection, intentional re-authoring, and memorability — and suggest that creative, participatory practices can help visitors connect museum content with their own identities, perspectives, and lived experiences.
