Ann Vuong (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) coauthored a paper titled, “Epigenetic signatures of maternal-fetal health: insights from cord blood and placenta," in the journal Epigenetics, along with researchers from Rhode Island, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The paper examined maternal-fetal placental health when relying on cord blood methylation in the absence of placental biospecimens.
