Ann Vuong (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) coauthored a paper titled, “Gestational PBDE concentrations and executive function in adolescents with self- and caregiver-report: The HOME study," in the journal Environmental Research, along with researchers from Pennsylvania, Ohio, Rhode Island, Georgia and Canada. The paper studied the adverse influence of concentrations of synthetic chemicals previously used as flame retardants in commercial products on offspring executive function during adolescence.
