Alethea Inns and Bob Soulliere (both Information Technology) presented "Human First, AI Second: The Heart Behind the Algorithm" at the Nevada Public Health Foundation's Annual Conference, "Navigating Ethics: Ethical Practices in the Age of AI," held at the Tuscany Suites and Casino in Las Vegas on May 27, 2026. The 95-minute interactive session explored the ethical implications of artificial intelligence in social work and public health practice, covering AI literacy, bias in machine learning systems, and a practical green/yellow/red framework for ethical decision-making.
