All applications for Honors College conference travel funding must be submitted through the web-based application form. When completing the form online, you will be asked to upload the following documents:
- Your current resume/CV
- A copy of your conference acceptance letter or email
- Documentation of approvals/certifications when applicable for the ethical conduct of research (IRB, CITI, IACUC) and research safety (RMS)
Only complete applications that are submitted by the deadline will be considered.
The Honors College conference travel funding committee will review the applications. Applicants will be notified via email of specific funding amounts. Students who receive Honors College conference travel funding will need to meet with Mary Yedinak (Mary.Yedinak@unlv.edu) before traveling to complete the required preauthorization forms. Students who fail to complete the proper preauthorization forms in advance of travel will forfeit the HC travel funding. Once travel has been completed and the required receipts (original receipts) have been submitted and processed, students will be reimbursed. Funds will not be paid in advance of travel.
