About the Lee Ambassadors

In addition to coordinating the medallion program, each ambassador is provided with the opportunity to receive mentoring from top business executives and to develop professional contacts while honing networking skills. Ambassadors also benefit from priority registration, allowing for custom-built academic plans. Ultimately, the program is designed to enrich students with the skills needed well beyond UNLV's campus.

How to Qualify

To qualify for the Lee Ambassador program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • at least junior standing
  • be admitted to a business major
  • hold and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA
  • All applicants must show strong involvement and leadership in at least one campus organization.

In order to be considered for the program, submit an application (including all essays and references) to dana.angioni@unlv.edu. Applications are due the first business day of April each year. After reviewing your application materials, a selection committee will schedule an interview with you.

About the Medallion Program

The medallion program is coordinated by the Lee Ambassadors and signifies that students have been involved in expanding their education outside the classroom. They contribute their time and talents through giving back to UNLV and the southern Nevada community. Medallions will be awarded to graduating students who have completed all requirements.
