UNLV Summer Term
About
Summer term is a self-supporting program that gives students the opportunity to get ahead and graduate sooner. Benefits include:
- Fast-Tracking Your Degree: Undergraduate students can attain up to 18 credits and graduate students can attain up to 15 credits.
- Earning College Credits Quicker: Summer courses have the same academic content as fall and spring courses but move at a much faster pace.
- Fully Focusing on the Course: Many students enjoy the structure of attending courses five days a week for three to five weeks. This format enables students to immerse themselves in the subject material and advance their progress in obtaining their degree.
Eligibility
You must be an active UNLV student to enroll in summer term courses. You are considered an active student if you attended UNLV in summer 2025, fall 2025 or spring 2026.
If you are not an active student, you will likely need to apply (or re-apply, if you have attended UNLV in the past) for admission. Visit the UNLV Admissions website for more information.
