Student employment with University Police Services is conditional upon successful completion of the following:

• Background investigation
• Candidate interview
• Any other tests or interviews required by this agency
• For most student employment programs, students must be enrolled at least part-time (five credits for graduate students and six credits for undergraduate students) and maintain a 2.00 undergraduate or a 3.00 graduate grade point average (GPA). International students must meet the GPA requirements above and are required by Immigration and Naturalization Services regulations to be enrolled full-time (12 undergraduate or nine graduate credits). In addition, prior to employment each semester, an international student must provide a work permit from International Student Services at UNLV.
