Directions & Parking
Cottage Grove Avenue will be closed at Maryland Parkway nightly from 9.p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, November 30 to Thursday, December 4. Those attending evening performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. may be impacted by the closure when leaving campus. Attendees should turn left onto Cottage Grove Avenue when exiting the parking structure then take a right on Claymont Street towards the Flamingo Road/Claymont Street intersection (where there is a traffic light).

General Directions From I-15
Traveling North
- Take Exit 38 for Flamingo Rd.
- Merge on to W. Flamingo Rd. (traveling east)
- Turn right onto Maryland Pkwy.
- Turn right onto Cottage Grove Ave.
- Pass the cream colored building on the left (UNLV Foundation).
- Turn left into the driveway in between the cream colored building and the parking garage.
Traveling South
- Take Exit 38 B for Flamingo Rd.

Access During Construction
A long-awaited accessibility project near UNLV’s iconic Flashlight sculpture broke ground this summer. The result will be an ADA-accessible ramp with seating, improved lighting, updated signage, and landscaping designed for function and beauty.
During construction, expected to last until January 2026, access to the venues in the Alta Ham Fine Arts Building from the UNLV Performing Arts Center Box Office will be limited.
Campus Accessibility
Plan Your Pathway
- If you have purchased a ticket for a production in the Black Box Theatre or Dance Studio One, we recommend parking in Lot B, Lot C, or Lot V for the fastest access to those venues.
- If you have not purchased a ticket and need to go to the box office, please allow enough time. The walk between the box office and the venues now takes 7 to 10 minutes.

Parking Costs
Parking is free in any lot on campus (except for handicapped and reserved parking areas) on the following days and times:
- After 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays
- After 1 p.m. on Fridays
- Any time on Saturdays or Sundays.
You must pay for parking through the PayByPhone app on the following times and days:
- Between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays
- Between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Fridays
Recommended Parking Locations for Your Event
Note that valet parking is not available for events at the Performing Arts Center.
Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall, Judy Bayley Theatre, or the Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall
For all patrons including those in wheelchairs or who have mobility challenges, we recommend parking in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage, Lot A (Pay By Phone Location #s: 29500 for unmarked spaces, 29501 for metered parking on the first floor, 29502 for handicap spaces).
Black Box Theatre, Dance Studio One, or the Paul Harris Theatre
Patrons without mobility challenges may park in the Cottage Grove Parking Garage, Lot A (Pay By Phone Location #s: 29500 for unmarked spaces, 29501 for metered parking on the first floor, 29502 for handicap spaces).
For patrons who have difficulty walking or who are in wheelchairs, we recommend the following:
Paratransit Stops
The paratransit stop closest to the Black Box Theatre, Dance Studio One, or Paul Harris Theatre is Paratransit Bus Stop 9.
The paratransit stop closest to the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall, Judy Bayley Theatre, or Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall is Paratransit Bus Stop 2.
Rideshare Locations
The rideshare pickup location nearest the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall, Judy Bayley Theatre, or Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall is the Performing Arts Center location.
The rideshare pickup location nearest the Black Box Theatre, Dance Studio One, or Paul Harris Theatre is the Maryland/Maude Frazier Entrance location.
