During this event, you'll enjoy a welcome program, hear from inspiring speakers, learn about the resources available to support your student, and understand the next steps to prepare your student for a successful first semester at UNLV!
We encourage you to attend the program during your student's scheduled in-person orientation session. Family and guests separate from their students during the morning welcome for their own orientation session, but will meet up with their students again at the Resource Fair at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the Student Union Ballroom.

In-Person UNLV Family Orientation
This event is specialized for the family and guests of our incoming students. We encourage you to attend the program during your student's scheduled orientation session.
You'll follow the parking and check-in instructions sent to your student. Your student will receive a confirmation email when they register for their event and a second reminder email with more details 2 days before their selected session. Registered guests will also receive a reminder email 2 days before their session.
Guests will receive handouts and swag items, including a t-shirt, and lunch will be provided. You must register for the in-person sessions and pay the $40 fee for each guest to attend. The fee is non-refundable.

UNLV Family Orientation Handbook
This handbook accompanies your orientation program and will serve as a quick reference tool for you while your student attends UNLV. You’ll also receive a physical copy of the handbook at your orientation session.
