The United States Postal Service (USPS) will implement a rate increase effective July 12, 2026. The average cost to send First-Class Mail will increase by 4.8%. Below are some of the most common rate changes:
78 cents to 82 cents
- Forever Stamp: $.82 (up from $.78)
- Metered Letters (1 oz): $.78 (up from $.54)
- Domestic Postcards: $.65 (up from $.54)
- Large Envelopes (Flats, 1 oz): $1.63
- Certified Mail Fee: $5.55
Commercial and Bulk Mail
- First-Class Presort Letters: $.692
- Marketing Mail Letters (Automation 5-Digit): Starting at approximately $.372
- Nonprofit Marketing Mail Letters (Automation 5-Digit): $.178
