Traffic Alert: LAS Airport Begins Connector Tunnel Construction Project

The Clark County Department of Aviation is beginning a construction project to repave the Airport Connector Tunnel roadways in both the northbound and southbound directions. The work will require temporary lane reductions through December 2026.

Preliminary work in the northbound tunnel will require reducing traffic lanes from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 31.

Beginning August 10, the northbound and southbound tunnels will be reduced to two lanes daily from 5 a.m. to midnight. Overnight, both directions will be reduced to one lane from midnight to 5 a.m., Monday through Friday only.

Travelers and motorists using the Airport Connector Tunnels are encouraged to plan ahead throughout the construction and allow for extra travel time.

Dates and traffic patterns are subject to change.
