Student Broadcasters Give Fans More Ways to Follow UNLV Football

UNLV student broadcasters are expanding access to football this season through a new collaboration between Rebel Sports Net and KUNV 91.5 HD2 The Beat. Student-produced broadcasts will be simulcast live across video, HD radio, streaming audio, smart speakers, and mobile devices.

Rebel Sports Net students handle play-by-play and game production, while KUNV student engineers manage the radio and digital simulcast. The collaboration gives students hands-on experience with the multiplatform distribution used in professional sports media.

The initiative is coordinated by KUNV Operations Manager Jason Beatty and Kevaney Martin of Rebel Report. Fans can watch or listen through:

  • Rebel Sports Net on YouTube — Watch the live video broadcast: Rebel Sports Net YouTube broadcast
  • KUNV 91.5 HD2 The Beat — Listen over the air throughout Southern Nevada with an HD Radio.
  • The Beat online stream — Listen live: KUNV 91.5 HD2 The Beat live stream
  • TuneIn and compatible smart speakers — Stream The Beat through TuneIn.
