Sky Rossana Takes on Expanded Leadership to Support MyUNLV

UNLV Information Technology is pleased to announce that longtime university staff member and alumna Sky Rossana (BS ’07, MS ’09) has been promoted to manager of student information functional operations. In this leadership capacity, Rossana will oversee the team responsible for supporting MyUNLV’s essential daily operations, working closely with areas such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Records, and Academic Advising to ensure seamless service.

Rossana brings nearly two decades of experience at UNLV and a strong understanding of institutional processes. In her role, she’ll act as a central point of collaboration between campus partners and IT, helping to enhance MyUNLV so it continues to effectively meet student success and enrollment needs.

Originally from Hawaii, Rossana relocated to Las Vegas to pursue her education at UNLV. She began her career here as a student worker in Financial Aid, moved into full-time roles within Enrollment Management, and most recently served as a business analyst on the Digital Enablement team.

Throughout her time at the university, she’s been involved in key initiatives that improve enrollment systems and supports campus operations. Rossana is eager to strengthen cross-campus partnerships and further develop MyUNLV’s impact for the Rebel community.
