The Lynn Bennett Early Childhood Education Center's Research Advisory Council's (RAC) supports research activity, community engagement, and collaborations across NSHE in early childhood related topics. Alongside the Director, Chelsie Shurtleff, and Research Coordinator, Jenna Weglarz-Ward, the Council provides review for research studies at the Lynn Bennett Early Childhood Education Center. We also coordinate with the Marlow Early Childhood Education Campus.

- Meeting at least three times per year
- Plan a research-related special event to showcase early childhood research and bring researchers together
- Review research applications
- Provide advice and assistance to the director and research coordinator to support research activities at the center
- Three members for the College of Education
- Two student members (undergraduate or graduate in an early childhood related field)
- One family member (this can be a student, faculty, or staff that has had a child at the Center in the past 5 years)
