UNLV is implementing infrastructure enhancements to support safer use of scooters, bikes, and other wheeled conveyances on campus. Enhancements include:
- Rebel Route: A pilot test of designated lanes for wheeled conveyances along an L-shaped route extending from the Student Recreation and Wellness Center (RWC) to Hospitality Hall (HOS), and from Hospitality Hall to the Student Union (SU).
- Building signage: Permanent signs will be installed at the main entrances of nine campus buildings to provide guidance on proper indoor use of wheeled conveyances.
- Scooter racks: Approximately 38 new scooter parking racks will be added at 15 locations across campus adjacent to existing bicycle racks.
