As part of the design phase for the new Business School building, contractors will conduct geotechnical soil borings to evaluate subsurface soil, rock, and groundwater conditions. Work will occur in two phases:
Phase 1
- Dates: Feb. 26 and 27
- Time: 7 a.m. - approx. 5 p.m.
- Location: Grassy area between Flora Dunegan Humanities (FDH) and Tam Alumni Center (TAM).
- No closures are expected. Intermittent construction noise may occur. Pedestrian access will remain open.
Phase 2
- Dates: Feb. 28 and 29
- Time: 7 a.m. - approx. 5 p.m.
- Location: Lot D
- Impact: Approximately 30 parking spaces will be temporarily closed. Large drilling equipment will be present, and construction noise is expected.
All boreholes will be properly patched, and the work areas will be restored following completion. Thank you for your patience as we complete this important site investigation work.
