For March 2026, the UNLV offices of Information Technology and of Accessibility Resources recognize Facundo Bentancourt, assistant director of compliance for UNLV Athletics, as our Rebel Accessibility Hero.

For two years, Bentancourt has facilitated a significant number of accessibility procurement processes for UNLV Athletics. In his role he has been uniquely positioned to provide support for moving procurements through the accessibility space. Facundo's partnership with the Office of Accessibility Resources matured over the months, and his proficiency in shepherding these processes is a testament to his cooperation.
