The Office of the President is pleased to welcome Jordan Fischette as the new director of programs and initiatives, effective Nov. 24, 2025. In this role, Jordan will lead programs, initiatives, and partnerships that advance the president’s vision while supporting cross-campus efforts that strengthen student success, community engagement, and institutional impact.
Jordan brings more than 15 years of higher education leadership experience with a career spanning student engagement, organizational development, large-scale program management, and national-level partnership building. At UNLV, he has overseen Student Organizations and Fraternity & Sorority Life, supporting more than 10,000 students and 470+ organizations through strategic leadership, training frameworks, risk management, and broad stakeholder collaboration. His prior work with the Alpha Tau Omega National Fraternity included directing educational initiatives across 130 campuses and coordinating major national events, partnerships, and volunteer networks.
Jordan holds an Ed.D. in Leadership & Innovation from Purdue University Global, a Master of Science in Organizational Management from Chadron State College, and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from UNLV. His scholarly work focuses on student persistence, leadership development, and organizational culture, and he is an active contributor to national professional associations.
