Get Ready for Healing Through Movement on Sept. 16!

Healing Through Movement is just around the corner! Be there on Tuesday, September 16 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Student Union, Room 209 for a free full day of guided movement workshops.

Take a break from your routine to recharge, learn a new skill, or simply move with intention. Here’s the full lineup of workshops with something for everyone (open to the public):

- Breathwork & Meditation (9:30 a.m.) – Reduce stress and find calm

- Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (10:00 a.m.) – Reconnect with your body

- Mat Pilates (11:15 a.m.) – Build strength and awareness

- Lunch Break Walk (12:30 p.m.) – Mindful movement with peers

- Self-Defense (1:15 p.m.) – Learn practical, empowering techniques

- Voguing Dance (3:00 p.m.) – Celebrate joy and expression

Come for any session or stay all day! In collaboration with Girl Gains, Inferno Hot PilatesFree Self Defense LV, and UNLV's SRWC instructor Dale Blackheart. The day also includes free snacks, swag, and a chance to connect with colleagues and the campus community. 

Don’t forget your yoga mat (limited mats available to borrow). Walk-ins welcome if space availability allows!
