Domestic Violence Awareness Month: Join The Care Center for Events All Month Long!

The Care Center invites you to join us for a month of powerful events to honor victim-survivors, raise awareness, and take action against violence.

Upcoming Events:

  • Open House for Staff & Faculty | Oct. 6, 1–3 PM | SSC-A 255

    Enjoy a free donut, tour the Care Center’s services, and enter our opportunity drawing for a giveaways!
  • The Power of Romance Training | Oct. 8 (Virtual) & Oct. 15 (SU 211)

    Explore what makes relationships healthy and learn practical ways to set boundaries.
  • Ink & Action: Screen Printing Workshop | Oct. 23, 1–4 PM | Barrick Museum

    Create posters and t-shirts that speak out against domestic violence. Free and materials provided! RSVP for a timeslot, space is limited.
  • Take Back the Night | Oct. 30, 3–5 PM | Alumni Amphitheater

    Show up in solidarity at our annual event featuring an artist showcase, march, and resource fair.

All events are free and open to the public! Wear a purple ribbon throughout the month of October to show solidarity. If you need ribbons for your office, contact us at carecenter@unlv.edu. Bring a colleague, invite a friend, and join us in advocating against violence!
