Division of Research Congratulates 2025 Distinguished Award Winners

On behalf of the Division of Research (DOR), we would like to congratulate the winners of the NSHE Regents’ Awards and winners of awards administered through UNLV’s Office of the Vice President for Research. The winners were recognized during the Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony on April 23. The annual event serves as an opportunity to recognize the achievements of faculty in teaching, research/creative activity, and service.

“As a Carnegie R1 research university, UNLV is home to faculty who are driving innovation and advancing knowledge at the highest levels,” said David Hatchett, vice president for research. “The award recipients exemplify the excellence and impact of our research community, and we are proud to celebrate their achievements as they help shape the future of their fields and strengthen our institution’s research mission.”

The winners listed below have demonstrated their commitment to research through groundbreaking projects, scholarly excellence, and meaningful contributions to their fields. Their work continues to elevate UNLV’s research profile and impact across the state, region, and the world. We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and the vital role they play in advancing innovation and discovery.

Please note this list includes only the NSHE Regents’ Award recipients whose work falls under the purview of the Division of Research. Additional awardees at UNLV were recognized for achievements in other areas and are not administered through DOR.
