Culture Change at UNLV: Moving from Awareness to Action Workshop

Join UNLV Ombudsman David Schwartz and Associate Vice President of Institutional Engagement Kyle Ethelbah for an exciting introduction to culture change at UNLV.

"Culture change" gets used constantly in higher education but what does it actually mean at the institutional level, and how do you know it's working? This workshop, hosted by the Office of Institutional Engagement & Experience (IEE), unpacks culture change as more than morale-boosting but a data-driven, multi-year effort to close the gap between how connected we feel to our teams and how connected we feel to UNLV as a whole. You'll see how IEE is putting that work into action from the cross-campus Institutional Engagement & Experience Council and the IEE Fund, to the Rebel Connect professional development cohort. You will walk away with a clear picture of how you and your unit can be part of shaping a stronger Rebel culture.

When: September 15, 2026 from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Where: Frank and Estella Beam Hall Room 240

This event is free and open to UNLV faculty and staff.
