A sincere thank all of our university members who participated, substituted, and supported our team members through 32 events this season.
Our captains for this year's challenge were outstanding in helping to recruit and make last minute calls and emails to fill spots to complete their teams, hold practices and guide many of our competitors to medal winning finishes. As with past competitions, the first place teams always win with participation and bonus points. This year the "Aristocrat" company won our division with 45 bonus points added to their event scores. This means that their employees volunteered to be at event registrations, be timers for racing events, etc.
The Challenge is a company employee participation opportunity and although UNLV is presently in 5th place overall, it's our best finish ever!
If any UNLV employee participated in a charity event March 1-May 15, please contact Kathy Lauckner at kd.lauckner@unlv.edu so I can be sure to have those bonus points added to our overall score. Also, there may be a trophy and bonus points awaiting us for the most blood donations given. Thank you to those who gave through Vitalant or the Red Cross.

Challenge coordinators for 2025 will be meeting on May 21 to discuss our accomplishments for this year and our expectations for next season. If you have ideas for how UNLV can improve its participation in the 2026 Corporate Challenge event, please email your thoughts.
