Starting Sept. 12, Workday will feature a streamlined process for requesting and managing time off and leaves of absence — available on both desktop and mobile.
What’s New
- Desktop: Stay on your current page and use the new micro calendar to request time off or leave. Events can also be edited directly from the Maintain Time Off and Leave Calendar tasks.
- Mobile: A single calendar now displays both time off and leaves of absence. The Manage Time Off and Leave tasks provide easier scheduling and adjustments.
What’s Changing
For a more streamlined experience, the following will now be handled through the new tasks:
- Request Time Off and Request Leave of Absence: Submit new requests using the Request Time Off and Leave task.
- Correct Time Off and Time Off Calendar: Update or cancel requests using the Manage Time Off and Leave task.
