The new date for removal of the BOXABL Casita's solar array, ramp, and staging to be de-installed along Alumni Mall, near CDC 03 is expected to take place June 3, 2025.
The casita itself will be de-installed on Wednesday, June 4, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
A portion of the sidewalk will be closed off with cones to accommodate a telehandler and flatbed lift truck. Sod replacement for the de-installation site will be completed by BOXABL within a week of the casita removal.
A significant disruption to campus is not anticipated. Minor disturbances such as general construction noise and dust can be expected. Please follow any posted signage in the work area for your safety.
