As part of our mission to elevate on-campus student employment into long-term career success, the UNLV Work+ team is excited to announce that nominations are currently open for the 2026-27 UNLV Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) Awards! As part of the National Student Employment Association’s (NSEA) annual awards process, UNLV SEOTY winners will be submitted for national recognition at the NSEA’s national Student Employee of the Year awards ceremony.

Please join us in recognizing your student employees for their outstanding contributions and achievements in your unit. Undergraduate student employees may be nominated for one the following award categories: 

• Community Service

• Social Impact & Belonging

• Leadership

• Technology & Innovation

• Critical Thinking

• Overall Student Employee of the Year

Graduate student employees, including graduate assistants, may be nominated for the Graduate Student Employee of the Year Award. 

All nominations must be submitted in writing by the student employee’s direct supervisor via the online nomination form by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026. Nomination letters should be a maximum of two pages, single spaced on letterhead, and signed by the supervisor.

Award recipients will be recognized during National Student Employment Week and at UNLV’s Rebel Awards Ceremony in April 2027.
