The Division of Research invites proposals for the 2026 Faculty Opportunity Awards (FOA) Program. This program supports innovative research and creative activities across all disciplines.

Application Deadline: Sunday, May 3, 2026, 11:59pm. 

FOA projects may be submitted by individuals or teams and can span a wide range of fields, including humanities, arts, social sciences, STEM, and health. Projects should demonstrate strong potential for external funding and advance research, scholarship, or creative activity.

Eligible applicants include faculty at all career stages. Interdisciplinary and collaborative proposals are encouraged.

Award Amounts:

• Up to $20,000 for individual projects
• Up to $30,000 for team projects

Funding is for a 24-month performance period (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028).
