2026 Memorial Beecroft Lecture Jan. 29

Faculty and staff are warmly invited to attend the 2026 Memorial Beecroft Lecture, hosted by the Saltman Center for Conflict Resolution at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. in the Thomas & Mack Moot Court Building.

This year’s lecture will feature Jennifer Lackey, Ph.D., Wayne and Elizabeth Jones professor of philosophy at Northwestern University, professor of law (courtesy), and director of the Northwestern Prison Education Program. Her talk, "Reparations and the Right to Be Known in Our Criminal Legal System," will examine the role of truth, narrative, and epistemic justice in addressing systemic harm.
