Erin Hamilton and Jason Smith (both Accounting) recently had their paper, "Error or Fraud? The Effect of Omissions on Management's Fraud Strategies and Auditors' Evaluations of Identified Misstatements," accepted for publication in The Accounting Review. The Accounting Review is a top-three journal in accounting and an A+ on the LEE journal list.
Paulette Tandy (Accounting) recently received a $10,000 grant from the Internal Audit Foundation for The Institute for Internal Auditors' (IIA) Internal Auditing Education Partnership (IAEP) program that will be used to hire a teaching assistant to help with the internal auditing classes and continuing to implement the program at UNLV.…
