The UNLV Symphony Orchestra will close its 2024-2025 season with a powerful collaborative performance alongside the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts Orchestra at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall. The performance is conducted by artistic director Taras Krysa, with high school student preparation by esteemed LVA music directors Eric McAllister and Jeremy Paredes. The concert will feature Anton Bruckner’s monumental Symphony No. 7.

Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7 in E major is considered one of his greatest masterpieces. Written as a tribute to his idol Richard Wagner, the work is both grand in scale and deeply spiritual in character.
