UNLV students and a host of campus and community organizations will gather to raise awareness about the growing problem of sexual assault and domestic violence during the university's 19th annual Take Back the Night event.

Sponsored by the Jean Nidetch Women's Center at UNLV, Take Back the Night is an annual rally and resource fair that offers attendees a chance to speak out against violence, remember victims and support survivors. The event is highlighted by a cross-campus march of supporters.

Community organizations scheduled to attend include the Rape Crisis Center, Safe Nest, S.A.F.E. House, Planned Parenthood and more. UNLV and high school domestic violence prevention groups will also be present.

The Women's Center operates the UNLV CARE Line, a 24-hour hotline for victims, survivors and their families to get resources, information and support related to sexual assault, relationship violence or stalking. The UNLV CARE Line can be reached at 702-895-0602.
