UNLV Jazz and Commercial Music opens the 2026-27 season with the Jazz Ensemble, Latin Jazz Ensemble, and Joe Williams Scholarship Jazz Quintet album release concert at 3 p.m. on Sept. 13 in Artemus W. Ham Hall. Tickets may be purchased here. Discounts are available.

The concert features selections from the Jazz Ensemble I album, My Favorite Things, and Back Home, from the Latin Jazz Ensemble and Joe Williams Scholarship Quintet's release. Jazz Ensemble I is directed by Dave Loeb and Nathan Tanouye, and the Latin Jazz Ensemble is directed by Pepe Jimenez. Professor Adam Schroeder also will perform with the Latin Jazz Ensemble, returning from a command performance at the Adelaide University in Australia.
