UNLV Film Grad Robin (Quinn) Whittaker Nominated for Two Emmy Awards

UNLV Department of Film Graduate Robin (Quinn) Whittaker '05 was recently nominated for two Emmy Awards for her work as music editor on the HBO series Game of Thrones and the PBS miniseries Any Human Heart.

The Emmy Awards will be held on Sept. 18 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Whittaker's categories include Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series (Thrones) and Outstanding Sound Editing for a Miniseries, Movie, or Special (Heart).

Some of Whittaker's other credits include the films Casino, Michael Collins, Evita, Lost in Space, Die Another Day, Quantum of Solace, The Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Basic Instinct 2.
