The UNLV department of dance presents its fifth concert with the Korean National Sports University, titled "Together 5," at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 and at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 in the Judy Bayley Theatre. The partnership involves performance exchanges of concert venues, with the exchange concert performed a week later in Seoul, South Korea, at the Korean National Sports University.
James Jeon is featured as guest choreographer. The program includes "Left of Winter" (choreography by Richard Havey with original music by Beth Mehocic), which leads into "The Rite of Spring" (choreography by Cathy Allen and Louis Kavouras). That is followed by Lazzi Stravinsky (choreography by Dolly Kelepecz and Margot Mink Colbert).
Tickets are $18 general admission, and $10 for seniors, students, military, disabled, and UNLV faculty and staff. Tickets can be purchased at the UNLV Performing Arts Center Box Office, on the PAC website, or by calling 702-895-ARTS (2787).
