The 1998 Congressional Small Business Videoconference, which will be broadcasted across the country from Washington, D.C., will be aired locally at UNLV May 29.
Hosted by the Nevada Small Business Development Center, the videoconference will air 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in the Classroom Building Complex, Room B-113. It is free and open to the public, but attendees must call the center to register beforehand.
A comprehensive small business policy agenda will be designed during the videoconference that will eventually be presented to members of Congress and other public officials. The meeting's agenda will cover the issues of health care and legal and regulatory reform.
The videoconference will be moderated in Washington D.C. by Jack Faris, president of the National Federation of Independent Businesses.
