Approximately 300 UNLV students, staff, and faculty members are expected to turn out Saturday (Nov. 9) for Operation World Class - a cleanup of UNLV's Frank and Estella Beam Hall.

Sponsored by the students in the hotel administration facilities management classes and their professors, Ken Teeters and Tom Jones, Operation World Class is intended to enhance the appearance of Beam Hall and to help maintain its facilities.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. and continue until the work is completed. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate. Volunteers will receive lunch.

Tasks range from picking up cigarette butts to checking equipment and cleaning classrooms.
