NEXTET, the contemporary chamber music series at the UNLV School of Music featuring 20th and 21st-century concert music performed by faculty, students, and guest artists, opens its season at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 in the Rando-Grillot Recital Hall of the Beam Music Center. The concert is free and open to the public.
Organized by artistic director Jennifer Bellor, the concert will feature music by guest composer Kevin Day, along with Diego Vega, Christian Romo, Kincaid Rabb, Rouzbeh Rafie, Tyzen Hsiao, and Alfred Schnittke.
