Chamber Music Series Welcomes the Dorian Wind Quintet Sept. 14

The Dorian Wind Quintet is known worldwide as one of chamber music’s preeminent and longest continuously active ensembles.

The UNLV Performing Arts Center and UNLV School of Music welcome the Dorian Wind Quintet — recognized by critics, audiences, and professional musicians alike for its uniquely polished and passionate performances — as part of the UNLV Chamber Music Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, in the Doc Rando Recital Hall of the Beam Music Center. The quintet includes Gretchen Pusch, flute; Gerard Reuter, oboe; Benjamin Fingland, clarinet; Adrian Morejon, bassoon; and Karl Kramer-Johansen, horn.

As part of the program, the quintet will play, "Conversations," a piece by UNLV dance department composer-in-residence Beth Mehocic.


Tickets to the Dorian Wind Quintet are $30, and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center box office at 702-895-ARTS (2787) or on the PAC website. Student rush tickets are $10 each and available one hour prior to each event based on availability and with valid student ID. UNLV faculty and staff discounts also are available.

The box office is open from 10 a.m - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday.

About the PAC

The UNLV Performing Arts Center is Southern Nevada's first home for the arts: it opened in 1976 and celebrates its 42nd season this year.
