Hilary Linzie (Medicine) and two medical students recently published a literature review on self-inflicted stabbings as non-lethal suicide attempts in the Journal of the Academy of Consult-Liaison Psychiatry. The Systematic review detailed the psychiatric characteristics of this unique patient population.

On Feb. 8, 2023, Tyler D. Parry (African American and African Diaspora Studies program; Interdisciplinary, Gender, and Ethnic Studies) appeared on Channel 8 News discussing historical and contemporary issues regarding African American Mental health.
