Zida Wang (Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art) delivered a featured talk titled “Museums Today: Creating Digital Exhibitions: A Practical Guide” on September 30, 2026, as part of the Museums Today virtual program hosted by the George Washington University Museum and The Textile Museum, in partnership with the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries.
Drawing on his co-edited volume, Creating Digital Exhibitions: A Practical Guide, Wang shared research-informed perspectives on the evolving landscape of digital exhibition-making. The discussion highlighted the potential of digital exhibitions to expand access, foster participation, and create new opportunities for learning while addressing the practical challenges facing museums.
Through this professional engagement, Wang contributed to national conversations on digital innovation, inclusive exhibition practices, and the future of museums in an increasingly connected cultural landscape.
