The administrative team and lead consultants of the UNLV Writing Center presented Practicing Timeless Strategies for Effective Writing (No AI Required!) at the 2026 ExplOER Nevada virtual summit on Friday, March 6. Presenters were Alanna Bitzel (Assistant Director), Shelbi Fitzpatrick (Lead Consultant), Amie Green (Interim Coordinator), Miranda Hannasch (Lead Consultant), Lacie McEntire (Lead Consultant), and Erin Zimmerman (Director). The session discussed the center’s accessible handouts and YouTube video series. It also addressed implications for Creative Commons licensing, exploring how the center provides open, online writing support for all writers affiliated with the university.
