The Writing Center offers one-to-one and group consultations in a variety of modalities to help writers gain skills to feel more confident and prepared on all writing projects.
Hours of Operation
As of December 13, the Writing Center is closed for the winter break. We will resume operations in Spring 2026. We expect to re-open for the semester on Monday, January 26. Check back for information on our regular business hours as well as for status updates regarding our permanent location.
Satellite Center Hours
The Writing Center will resume drop-in hours at various satellite center locations on main campus in January 2026. Check back for information on spring hours and offerings.
About Us
The Writing Center is free for all UNLV students, faculty, and staff. Our consultants work with writers at all levels and across all academic disciplines. If you are stuck on something you are writing, even if you haven’t started writing yet, schedule an appointment. You might want to try out a few consultants until you find one that you really like working with.
