Supporting All UNLV Writers
The Writing Center offers one-to-one and group consultations in a variety of modalities to help writers gain skills to feel more confident and prepared on all writing projects.
Hours of Operation
The Writing Center will be located in FDH 413 this Fall 2025 semester because of construction in CRC. All normal operations, including In-Person Consultations, resume Monday, September 15th.
Note: The Writing Center is closed for all university holidays.
In-Person Consultation Hours
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Virtual Consultation Hours
Monday – Thursday: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
OWL Consultation Hours
Submissions are accepted Sunday – Friday. Refer to our OWL submission schedule for acceptance and return times.

About Us
The Writing Center is free for all UNLV students, faculty, and staff. Our consultants work with writers at all levels and across all academic disciplines. If you are stuck on something you are writing, even if you haven’t started writing yet, schedule an appointment. You might want to try out a few consultants until you find one that you really like working with.
