The UNLV Center for Democratic Culture has published a new edition of the Social Health of Nevada Report. It reflects the developments in the aftermath of the COVID-19 epidemics in the areas of injury-related mortality, addiction and substance misuse, behavioral and mental health, aging challenges and trends, environment and sustainability, sexual economy and sex workers, income distribution and poverty, problem gambling and treatment, crime, delinquency, and cyberattacks, and in other areas.

The data and analysis provided by the center’s associates have been used by students, instructors, and politicians in Nevada and around the world. According to OAsis, UNLV office tracking digital scholarship, the Center for Democratic Culture is a leader among the university centers and institutes in the number of institutions and countries which use the center’s databases such as the SHN Report (see UNLV repositories download statistics).
