Suheyla Sarisahin, Gloria Carcoba Falomir, Alain Bengochea (all Early Childhood, Multilingual, and Special Education), and Tracy Spies (Teacher Education at Wyoming University) presented a paper titled, "Shifting teachers' beliefs and practices to support multilingual learners with disabilities," at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Conference on April 8, 2026, in Los Angeles. This study highlights the need for more comprehensive approaches to preparing teachers to serve multilingual learners with disabilities.
