Dr. Sonal Shah (Dental) accepted an invitation to present "Red White and Urgent: The Clinical Warning Signs of Oral Cancer" during the national Academy of General Dentistry annual meeting last month. She discussed the steps of performing a comprehensive oral examination, identified risk factors, highlighted clinical features of oral cancers and precancerous lesions, and reviewed management along with the referral pathway.
