Simon Jowitt (Geoscience) and colleagues from Hefei University of Technology and Uppsala University recently published a paper on the use of magnetite compositions to determine the processes that formed major mineral deposits in eastern China. The paper, "In situ LA–ICP–MS Trace Element Analyses of Magnetite: Genetic Implications for the Zhonggu Orefield, Ningwu Volcanic Basin, Anhui Province, China," was published by Mineralium Deposita.
